Hey all, went hiking in the Bull Run mountains near The Plains, VA over the weekend. A very nice series of trails there, with civil war era stone structures around and the occasional Blair Witch stye abandonned settler house out in the woods. Less than an hour's drive from DC. Recommended for DC residents looking for a decent day hike without having to drive half the day.
