Hello Hiker!
This February (2005) a local friend, bumped into 'Icebound' a truly determined and hardy thru hiker on Blueberry Hill on the AT above Greenwood Lake, New York.
Icebound, who a remarkable 173 days earlier had begun a northbound AT transit was inspired by diverse topography and hidden glades and waterfalls of the North New Jersey -Greenwood Lake trail section.
After a inspecting his 70 pound WINTER gear pack and well worn snowshoes he announced that the section of trail between New Jersey and Greenwood Lake as the most spectacular he had seen heading north....
We are very blessed and welcome you to hike with us locally.
Day hiking or AT through marching you can find a warm couch, hot coffee, free wifie bunch of new friends at the Greenwood Grind.
